I first started studying bitcoin back in early 2016 as it was a very interesting topic to me. I found that the banking system was very flawed in the way it operates and innovation was needed for us to develop in the future of money. The underlying technology for bitcoin is the block chain.
The block chain is a shared public ledger on which the entire Bitcoin network relies. All confirmed transactions are included in the block chain. It allows Bitcoin wallets to calculate their spendable balance so that new transactions can be verified thereby ensuring they’re actually owned by the spender. The integrity and the chronological order of the block chain are enforced with cryptography.
My goal is to help businesses understand the use of block chain in their business environment, helping them to understand it, how it can be used, and accept it for payments. There is also the trading side and mining side which can be explored and I help teach this as well.
